the zoo is always fun and so is the NY aquarium.. a nice romantic hotel lobby/bar/drink place is "the view," top revolving floor in the marriot...toys r us is cheesy and overdone, please dont take us there anymore, guys... painting pottery is good but only on a date where ur already comfortable with each other.. this is a weirdish one but the reserve public NY library on 5th ave. is gorgeous, has lot of room to walk around and look at stuff and lots of museum-y rooms... thats it for now.

Ft. Tryon Park

For those who hear about the beauty of Washington Heights, the reference is not to St. Nicolas Street. Those who have stumbled upon Ft. Tryon Park have seen the true treasure of the Heights. Surrounding the Cloister's Museum is a park with pathways that lead its travelers by scenic lookouts toward New Jersey and pass through tree clusters and benches. There are a few patches of grass if the vast amount of benches are filled. Ft. Tryon Park is a great place to walk around and spend a few hours, weather permitting. Enjoy the view!

Boat Ride

Personaly, I love the Staten Island Ferry. As most of my friends will verify, its something I recommend to most daters. The ferry leaves every half hour and you can ride it all day. Obviously it is better in the warmer season where you can enjoy the view of Lower Manhattan and coast by the Statue of Liberty. There are seats indoors where you can easily find a quiet spot to chat or venture out onto the side deck where there is usually standing room and maybe even a seat or two....

So take your date, get on deck and enjoy the breeze!

Welcome!
