Starbucks

It seems that Starbucks is always a good choice. Whether you're just there for the few minutes it takes to get a coffee, or planning on sitting there for a while, you really can't go wrong. The ambiance is generally a nice one, and there are some that have extremely comfortable chairs and couches.

In addition, it also says something about the relationship. If your goal is to shmooze somewhere that's not a hotel lobby, that is a statement in itself. Or maybe it is testament to the comfort level you feel with the other person, in that you don't need to always be doing something. Maybe you like that delicious Starbucks smell and are really sharing something a notch higher on the "intimate scale." Could be that you enjoy sitting around watching other people...guessing their life story, silently judging them, whatever floats your boat. Either way, there is ample room for any of these reasons, but the most important being that you enjoy spending time in the company of the person you are with.

Would you ever invite the Starbucks staff to your engagement for all the service they provided and the effect they might have had on you finding your soul mate? Now that would be "repayment."

Thank you Starbucks.

While starbucks is always a nice place to shoot the breeze ...or too get away from one.... a very big issue is the kashrus there, a lot of things are not under a hashgacha, so be careful! its no way to start a marriage by drinking your not kosher hot chocolate and talking abt wanting to grow in yiddishkite...so be prepared ahead of time and know what is and is not ok to drink. looking out for you...and the start of a new life, a first time blogger :)
